Fear Not 220

Good morning, friends. As the first light of July 27, 2026, gently breaks across the sky, I invite you to pause with me and hold close these tender words from Philippians: "...I rejoice and share my joy with all of you." Life moves quickly, and many of us wake already carrying quiet worries—rising costs that stretch family budgets, headlines that stir uncertainty about the world we’re leaving our children, or the simple exhaustion of balancing work, health, and relationships. In these ordinary struggles, joy can feel distant, almost unrealistic. Yet the apostle Paul wrote this verse while facing his own heavy trials. He did not wait for perfect circumstances; he chose to rejoice anyway and then immediately passed that joy along. His example shows us that rejoicing is not denial of pain but a deliberate decision to notice God’s presence even when the road is rough. Today, that choice matters more than ever. When a neighbor needs an encouraging text, when our own hearts feel heavy after scrolling the news, or when a small moment of beauty appears—a child’s laugh, a cool morning breeze—we can let joy rise and then offer it freely. Sharing joy does not diminish our own; it multiplies it. So let’s step into this new day with open hearts. Notice one thing worth celebrating, name it in prayer, and pass the warmth along. In doing so, we become living echoes of Paul’s words, reminding one another that hope is still alive and that we do not walk alone.
