Yet the verse promises that light does not wait for perfect circumstances; it dawns for those who keep their hearts turned toward what is right and true. These small, upright acts may not make the evening news, but they align our hearts with the promise of joy. The light is not earned by grand gestures; it meets us in faithful, everyday choices.
